The itinerary:

Day 1(Monday Monday 20th July)
We leave North Harbour at 9.30am to travel to Telford for a four-night stay. We are staying at Telford Whitehouse Hotel, Telford for 4 nights. Our coach will have a toilet and we will stop at Stratford-upon-Avon for lunch and some free time. We will leave there at 3pm and drive on to the hotel.

Day 2 (Tuesday 21st July)
Today we visit Blists Hill Victorian Town Museum. Complete the day with a visit to Ironbridge to view the first cast-iron bridge and explore the town.

Day 3 (Wednesday 22nd July)
Today's tour takes us to Kidderminster to board the steam train for a 16 mile scenic journey on the Severn Valley Railway, through stunning countryside to Bridgnorth. Free time on arrival before travelling back to the hotel by coach.

Day 4 (Thursday 23rd July)
Today travel to Shrewsbury with its town centre packed with timber-framed black and white buildings. Take a relaxing 45min river boat trip from Victoria Quay. Then time to explore the town, there are over 600 listed buildings including the Castle, now a regimental museum and the world-famous Shrewsbury Abbey, home of the fictional Brother Cadfael. Perhaps visit the beautiful Quarry Park, sit and watch the world go by while enjoying a drink by the river.

Day 5 (Friday 24th July )
After breakfast, we commence our journey home. We first go to the National Arboretum at Stafford. We have the land train ride booked which takes about 50 mins, The Arboretum’s Land Train is the perfect way to enjoy the 150-acre site. Whatever the weather, the journey will provide you with lovely views across the landscape and will introduce you to some of our 300 plus memorials. Highlights en route include the Shot at Dawn Memorial, The Polish Armed Forces Memorial, The RAF Remembrance Garden and views across the Naval Review. We will allow time to visit some memorials if you wish and have lunch. The aim is to leave the Arboretum at about 1.00pm for the journey home, with perhaps a quick comfort stop if required.

It is hoped we will arrive back at IBM North Harbour, Cosham around 5 pm.
